A portion of south central Arizona, including the following areas, Apache Junction/Gold Canyon, Cave Creek/New River, Dripping Springs, Fountain Hills/East Mesa, Globe/Miami, Mazatzal Mountains, New River Mesa, Pinal/Superstition Mountains, Rio Verde/Salt River, San Carlos, Southeast Gila County, Superior and Tonto Basin. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Abundant moisture will combine with an incoming weather system to produce showers and thunderstorms from late afternoon through Wednesday night. Rainfall amounts of greater than 2 inches will be possible within the watch area. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
