Unseasonably warm temperatures and gusty winds will worsen grassland fire weather conditions today especially across northeast Oklahoma. Any fire starts could spread quickly this afternoon. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT

Gusty winds will continue on Monday which will again increase grassland fire weather concerns. Thunderstorm chances increase Tuesday night with widespread showers and thunderstorms forecast Wednesday through Thursday. Heavy rainfall amounts may develop especially across northeast Oklahoma raising the potential for localized flooding.
