Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Over the past 36 hours 1.0 to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen into the greater Susitna Valley drainage system. An additional 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain is expected, primarily over the Talkeetna Mountains. Excessive runoff will cause water levels to rise along rivers, small creeks, and streams. Rainfall could become impactful to erosion-prone areas and low-lying or poor- drainage areas across the Susitna Valley and Talkeetna. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
