Issued 530 PM MDT FRI AUG 14 2026 Scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon are producing gusts up to 30 kt, locally heavy rainfall, and abundant intracloud lightning. Stronger storms may also produce small hail. Storm activity tapers off after sunset, with isolated lingering showers near mountains and hills overnight. Tomorrow, storm activity redevelops again near KBKE/KMYL and near KJER/KTWF. Surface winds: variable 5-15 kt, with erratic gusts near storms. Winds aloft at 10kft MSL: SW 5-15 kt.

KBOI...VFR. Showers in the region are unlikely to impact the terminal. Surface winds: NW 5-10 kt through the afternoon becoming SE overnight.

Weekend Outlook...Showers and thunderstorms largely taper off Sunday, with limited coverage near KBKE and the central ID mountains. Surface winds: SW-NW 5-10 kt Sunday. Light and variable during overnights.
