HIGH WIND IMPACT
Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph will gust around 30 mph behind a cold front.
RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT
A moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all central Florida Atlantic beaches. Always swim near a lifeguard and never enter the water alone.
WIND AND SEA IMPACT
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all the adjacent Atlantic waters for Northwest winds near 20 knots nearshore and 20 to 25 knots offshore with higher gusts. Seas will build 7 to 8 feet in the Gulf Stream.
FIRE WEATHER IMPACT
A high fire danger exists today across all of east central FLorida due to gusty northwest winds and low relative humidity.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. At least a moderate risk of rip currents will exist at Atlantic beaches this week. Boating conditions will remain poor to hazardous this week, especially offshore. Low humidity will produce fire weather sensitive conditions this week.

RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS FOR ALL OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA
The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM EDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. AFFECTED AREA

Okeechobee
Indian River
Saint Lucie
and Martin counties. WIND
West to Northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph. HUMIDITY
Minimum values of 25 to 35 percent. IMPACTS
any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
