DISCUSSION...

Gusty northwest winds to around 30 mph are expected from the
midday into the afternoon across much of NW AR, especially in the
terrain. The gusty winds and dry air in place will yield limited
fire spread potential. Winds will subside by sunset this evening.

Spotter Activation Not Expected.

THURSDAY...High Wind Potential.
FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
SATURDAY...No Hazards.
SUNDAY and MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
TUESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

Gusty south winds are expected Thursday and Friday ahead of the
next storm system. On Thursday west of highway 75, warm temps, low
humidity and gusty winds will yield near elevated fire spread
potential.

Moisture return ahead of the system will be sufficient to support
isolated storms mainly Friday night across southeast Oklahoma and
west-central Arkansas. Another storm system will bring another
round of rain and some thunderstorms Sunday night into early
Monday.
