This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

FIRE WEATHER DANGER.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Northeast Oklahoma and northwest Oklahoma.
ONSET...This afternoon.

DISCUSSION...
Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are expected this
afternoon across parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas
following the passage of a frontal boundary. North to northeast
winds gusting at 20 to 25 mph are expected, with minimum relative
humidities 20 to 25 percent. Fine fuels and brush are becoming
increasingly drought-stressed and are becoming more susceptible to
ignition and rapid fire spread.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.
THURSDAY...High Wind Potential.
FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Breezy to windy conditions will develop late in the week as a
storm system develops to our west. Warming temperatures and
persistent drought conditions will elevate fire weather concerns
Thursday and Friday. Low shower and thunderstorm chances return
Friday night into Saturday.
