This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...North and west of Tulsa.
ONSET...After midnight.

DISCUSSION...
There is a slight chance of high-based thunderstorms after
midnight tonight, and more likely toward daybreak Thursday.
Severe weather is not expected.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.
FRIDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
MONDAY and TUESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Isolated thunderstorms may continue into Thursday morning mainly
north of I-44. More significant thunderstorm development may
occur to the north and west of Tulsa Thursday afternoon. Spotty
damaging winds will be the main threat with any storms that
develop. Storms will likely drift south and east and dissipate
later Thursday evening.

Dangerous heat is expected Thursday and Friday, with afternoon
heat index values reaching near or slightly above 105 degrees in
some places.

Thunderstorm chances will return over the weekend, especially
across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The best chance
for storms will be Sunday night as a cold front moves through.
